The OKC chin cup headgear is designed to comfortably fit a variety of patients. We have heard from orthodontists and patients that hard chin cups require comfort padding because the hard shape does not properly conform to the patient's chin. Look at any five people and you will see that their chin shape is different. Only a soft conforming chin cup can comfortably fit most people. Our headgear has a unique soft neoprene chin strap.
The force level applied is changeable by adjusting the strap. It accommodates a wide variety of patient sizes with the adjustment straps.
The OKC chin cup has a choice of vertical pull strap or high pull cap to allow you to choose a vertical or occipital pull ( high pull) direction.
The chin cup component is attached with a snap buckle allowing easy placement and removal of the headgear.
